Design Rational: In a prime location on Ambleside Neighborhood in the Greater Windermere Community League, this three-story mixed-use professional building is one of the prominent building in the area. The Ocean cloud professional center has a unique three storey atrium space that interconnects to the concourse level and links the professional building with other levels. One of the themes was to provide undulation of form on the third floor and create roof top gardens and open patios for the future tenants. This is one of the first class AAA office building outside of downtown Edmonton.
Key Features: This building is characterized by the contemporary commercial look of Large glazing, metal details, masonry and EIFS Facades. With use of large curtain walls fronted openings, the building provides a welcoming experience to visitors. One of the key feature of this building is the Atrium in which the solar heat is collected and redistributed throughout the year by means of extracting during the winter and helps act as climatic buffer zone, insulating the building and helping to significantly reduce energy consumption.
